Frequently asked questions

The first appointment is an intake assessment to evaluate the correct level of care.  In Solidarity Counseling treats clients on an outpatient basis. Appointments take place on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.

The following sessions are dedicated to building engagement.  In order to have successful treatment, the therapeutic relationship with your therapist is key.  Like any relationship, this can take some time.

The initial appointment is 60 minutes and includes intake and assessment. Regular subsequent appointments for individual, couples and family therapy sessions last 50 minutes.

It will depend on the course of treatment identified in the treatment plan. This is something that can be determined in the first few sessions of treatment, bearing in mind that building therapeutic rapport can take some time.

Tele-health and in-person sessions are both available. In person sessions will be available through The Community Well, a non-profit ministry at The Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville, 2688 Main Street, Lawrenceville NJ.  For information, please contact us.

Payments are accepted via debit or credit card. A credit card authorization form will need to be signed prior to first appointment. We work with insurance companies that reimburse for out of network therapists.  We also receive HSA payments and government backed Medicare.
